Bereavement Support for Service Families in the Armed Forces

Death is always hard to cope with, especially when the deceased was in the prime of life, and we recognise that different groups of people will have different needs. Military life is different from life in 'civvy street' and Cruse Bereavement Care understands that that those people who have lost a loved one whilst they were serving in the Armed Forces may have particular issues and experiences that can complicate the grieving process.

Bereavement support can be accessed through your local Cruse branches, which are listed here on this website, or details are available from your local telephone directory and through the national telephone and email helplines, shown in the banner at the top of every web page. We hope these pages will be helpful  - clicking on the links in the menu below will take you to information provided by Cruse. Throughout this section of the website for military families, highlighted words and phrases in the text indicate a link, sometimes to external sites with specific information relevant to the subject.
