Support in groups

If you have been bereaved you may find it helpful to speak to others who are in a similar situation. Many local Cruse services offer groups where bereaved people can talk about what they are feeling and share advice. Groups might include: a set number of support sessions with the same group of people, friendship groups, family groups and groups for those in particular circumstances, such as those bereaved by suicide.

Contact your local Cruse service to find out what is on offer where you live.

Cruse also runs some national projects which offer befriending and group support:

Facing the Future: Support for those bereaved by suicide
