We are delighted to welcome you to this relaunched website of Cruse Bereavement Care in Lambeth. Cruse Bereavement Care is a national charity that exists to offer support, advice and information to children, young people and adults when someone dies and to enhance society’s care of bereaved people.
Set up in 2009, Lambeth currently offers support to adults within the London borough of Lambeth (or whose GP practice is in the borough), by offering one-to-one sessions with a trained Bereavement Volunteer (BV). We are also able to offer advice and support to parents or others affected by a death in the family where there are children. In 2017, we will be launching a new service especially for children and young people (under 18).
The huge amount of administrative work involved is currently carried out by a part time Administrator (12 hours per week) with support from BVs.
We liaise with many other organisations in Lambeth who provide a service, either directly or indirectly to bereaved adults. If you would like to be added to our mailing list to receive information about what we are doing, new services, events etc, please do let us know by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. In addition, we very much welcome support from companies - either financially, through an event or in kind. A recent donation - from Argus Media of £2,800 - will go towards providing the new service for children. If you would like to talk to someone about how you can help, please do let us know.
You can call the branch on 020 7620 3999. Calls will be returned within 48 hours. Alternatively, email email@example.com
