On Sunday 12th June Cruse was privileged to take part in The Patron’s Lunch to celebrate The Queen as our Patron on the occasion of her 90th birthday.
Annie from Cruse Boston won a place at the lunch after being nominated by her local service for her exceptional volunteer work. Annie is the longest serving original member of the branch and joined to help set up the service.
Annie told us “the day was really good. It was lovely to meet up with other Cruse volunteers, everyone was so friendly and even the rain didn’t dampen the good spirits. The Parade with the Cruse volunteers taking part was fantastic too. We all wore either Cruse purple polo shirts or something purple which helped to spot fellow Cruse people. It is something I will always remember and I would like to say thank you to Cruse Boston for giving me the opportunity to attend.”
