For 60 years we have been educating and empowering society to better understand bereavement. Our core work is delivered through a team of an incredible 5000 volunteers who provide face to face and telephone support. We have been fortunate enough to receive a digital lottery grant to support us on the journey of digital transformation.  You can play a part in helping us to shape these services and create sector-leading products.


About the role

Reporting to the Digital Lead you will support Cruse to develop new products and services and expand the digital support we offer to bereaved people.  We are looking for someone who can help us identify areas for service improvement and propose innovative solutions to meeting current and future needs of our audiences through the use of digital technology.  We have an ambitious programme of digital transformation and this is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a dynamic, creative team. 


You will also help us drive growth across all digital channels, working with external agencies to plan and manage our digital marketing activities.  You’ll have a strong understanding of conversion rate optimisation, SEO and analytics.


We are looking for someone with strong digital marketing and product development experience who can make a significant contribution to our transformation strategy. 



Skills and experience


  • At least three years’ experience in a digital marketing and/or product development role
  • Familiar with product development and agile methods
  • Able to identify opportunities for new product development
  • Confident with data analysis and reporting across all digital channels
  • Strong understanding of conversion rate optimisation, SEO and analytics
  • Experience designing, implementing and managing PPC and Adwords campaigns
  • Able to produce plans aligned to strategies
  • Manage budgets and milestones
  • Contribute to content evaluation and planning

This is a full time role, 35h hours per week, and is usually based in the Richmond upon Thames office in South West London.
