This is an exciting time at Cruse Bereavement Care. Our strategy ‘Bereaved People First’, is being implemented and the charity under-going significant transformation. This role is essential for the delivery of the strategy and the well-being of bereaved people across the country – which has arguably never been more important than now.

The Fundraising and Income Generation team has gone from strength to strength since forming in 2019, with income increasing by over 40%. On the back of this success, our ambitious strategy sets out to continue to grow and diversify income to make the most of each opportunity.

Around 2.5 million of Cruse’s income currently comes from statutory sources at a local, regional and national level. There is huge opportunity to grow and develop income from statutory sources - in particular from NHS and Local Authorities. Within this role, you will work across the Cruse network to identify these opportunities and ensure they are maximised. You will build relationships with key decision makers and influencers and support the network teams to do the same. As a true team player, you’ll proactively at work across internal teams to develop projects, budgets and reporting which will appeal to funders and encourage long-term engagement.
