Due to the wonderful response to our callout for volunteers to our National Helpline, we have now reached capacity. We will not be taking on any new applicants for new volunteers for the foreseeable future but would be delighted to discuss the role with you in the future as we are expecting the Helpline to become quite busy in the aftermath of this pandemic. Our helpline training is comprehensive and consists of Cruse’s Bereavement Support Foundation course followed by the Helpline Elective which teaches telephone skills and the particular range of expertise required for helpline support. After acceptance as a helpline volunteer your induction includes full training in the technology required.
