If you are interested in volunteering for Cruse Norwich, there are a number of volunteering roles you could consider. Please contact the office on 01603 219977 or email email@example.com.
Bereavement Support Volunteer (BSV)
BSVs support bereaved people on a one-to-one basis, either at our St Augustines Street premises or in the client's home. BSVs require no formal qualifications or specific experience but do need to care about bereaved people and be willing to commit the time to supporting them. One-to-one support can be demanding but also very rewarding. BSVs need to undertake the Cruse Bereavement Support Foundation Course - for more details please see our Training Page.
Enquiry Line Volunteer
Enquiry Line Volunteers play a vital role as they are often the first contact a client has with Nowich Cruse. Also specially trained, these volunteers provide information, advice and literature, receiving over 1,000 calls each year.
We are always looking for more volunteers to help us with fundraising and events. You might get involved by organising a coffee morning at home, a bake sale at work, taking part in a sponsored run or lend a hand at an event by collecting money. We are always open to new fundraising ideas and happy to have willing volunteers to call on when we need a few extra hands!
Administration Support Volunteer
Sometimes we need help with a variety of one-off projects and administration. We are always happy to welcome new volunteers who have some time to give.
