Maidstone and Medway Cruse offers training in Bereavement,
The ‘Awareness in Bereavement Care’ course is designed to train Cruse volunteers and would also benefit a range of workers in the health and social services fields and a range of professional counsellors from many different fields who need to deal with bereavement.
It takes place over a period of weeks and includes completion of a portfolio. Having completed this course, you can also apply for accreditation from the external validation body, Ascentis.
Cruse is an Organisational Member of BACP and works within the BACP Ethical Framework. Bereavement support with Cruse clients can be recorded towards the total hours required for Diploma courses and for BACP accreditation.
Our training is professional and of a high quality.
We also offer continuous profession development in the form of training workshops
