Although the Surrey East Area of Cruse is part of Cruse Bereavement Care, the UK’s largest bereavement charity, we still have to raise funds in order to provide our services.
All of our work in Surrey East is done by volunteers. They give their time and energy completely free, they do not get paid. However, that does not mean that we can run without help and money. It is estimated by Cruse to cost £280 per client to provide one to one support by a bereavement volunteer. As we do not charge for our services, donations are essential if we are to continue to provide bereavement support.
Cruse relies on its trained volunteers to deliver the bulk of its services and it is largely funded by public donations. If you would like to help Cruse continue to provide high quality care please click here (link?) to find out how you can support us and make a difference to bereaved people across the UK.
Ways to donate
There are many ways to make a donation and any gift, large or small, can make a difference.
To help us plan our work for the future regular donations really make a difference. Even a donation of £5 per month will help us to continue to provide our services. To donate this way use our donations and gift aid form.
For other donations please send a cheque made out to Cruse Bereavement Care Surrey East to
