Bereavement Volunteers support people including children who have been bereaved by death. Volunteers visit people in their own homes usually on a weekly basis for about an hour.

Bereavement Volunteers must have attended and passed a Cruse Awareness in Bereavement Care (ABC) training course and commit to ongoing training and supervision offered by a Branch. All Bereavement Volunteers are DBS checked. Out of pocket expenses are refunded.

West Sussex Area Management Committee would welcome new members with experience in management, fundraising, training, publicity or HR. The committee meets every 6 weeks in Pulborough. Expenses are refunded. If you are interested, please contact us by telephone or email as indicated above.
