Bereavement Volunteers support people including children who have been bereaved by death. Volunteers visit people in their own homes usually on a weekly basis for about an hour.
Bereavement Volunteers must have attended and passed a Cruse Bereavement Support Foundation training course (BSF) and commit to ongoing training and supervision offered by a Branch. All Bereavement Volunteers are DBS checked. Out of pocket expenses are refunded.
Volunteers are often needed to help branches with administration, fundraising and publicity. If you have an interest in these areas and would like to volunteer with Cruse in West Sussex, please contact us via:
- Telephone: 0300 311 9959 and leave a message on our Answerphone Service or
