Annual Meeting 4th September 2019

Our 2019 Annual Meeting takes place in the main room at Wade Street Church, 7:30pm to 9:30pm on Wednesday 4th September. Following the success of last year's meeting. we will again cut down on formalities and provide informal opportunities for groups of BVs to present aspects of our work to guests. This is an opportunity for volunteers to meet with some of our funders and with community representatives. We hope to see you there for another successful and enjoyable evening.

Training Diary 2019

We are comitted to providing relevant, high quality training for our volunteers. The recent day-long course "When a child dies - supporting parents and families" was well attended and well received with positive evaluations of course quality and participants' growth in confidence, kmowledge and skills. Thanks to Barry Lyonnette of Child Bereavement UK for a successful day.

Please see below details of further training sessions. For more information, or to reserve a place please contact southstaffordshire@cruse.org.uk. Some events have limited places available so it is important to register in advance.

Refreshments are provided for all training events. However due to the high costs of providing external training you will need to bring your lunch for all day workshops.

Annual Business Meeting 2018

Our Annual Business Meeting took place on Wednesday 5th September 2018, at Wade St. Church, Lichfield.  The evening was very well attended by our supporters, volunteers and local representatives across the area. In a break from our usual format, after a brief presentation, attendees were free to find out more about the support we provide in a range of areas, including support for Children and Young People and Bereavement Help Points. Feedback on the evening was very positive, with attendees commenting that the informal discussions were a highly effective and very interesting way of finding out about the services that Cruse provides.
