Cruse Hull & District Branch is running the Three Day Bereavement Support Foundation Course at their office First Floor Wellington House, 108 Beverley Road, Hull HU3 1YA
Dates are all Saturdays 10.00am to 5pm. September 7, Oct 5 and 19.
The Face to Face Elective is 2 days November 2nd and 16th
This course is mandatory for everyone wishing to become a Cruse volunteer.
All candidates must be able to attend all three days.
The cost is £150 per individual or £200 if paid for by an organisation.
Concessions available where appropriate.
This is a nationally recognised course [equivalent to a Level 2]; a random sample of portfolios will be internally moderated by Cruse Bereavement Care who will provide a certificate. You can ask for external accreditation by ‘Ascentis’ (Optional).
Due to the nature of the course, it would not be suitable for anyone who has experienced a significant personal bereavement within the last two years.

It is a course condition that you attend the first day and subsequent days and complete your Portfolio of work for all three days. No previous training is required.
There will be pre-course and post course interviews.
Following a successful post course interview, we will be running the Face to Face Elective on Saturdays 16th and 30th November, there is no further charge for this or for other available electives.
