We have thousands of volunteers - and we always need more!
Cruse is the UK’s largest bereavement charity and in 2015-16 we helped over half a million people and we can only do this with the help of just under 5,000 volunteers covering England, Wales and Northern Ireland. But we always need more volunteers to meet the constant demand for our services. None of what Cruse achieves would be possible without the passion, dedication and skills of our volunteers.
How to volunteer
If you are interesested in volunteering for Cruse in any role, the best way is to contact your local Area. Find your area.
If you would like to become a bereavement volunteer working directly with bereaved pepole, you will need to complete our ABC training course. Upcoming courses are listed on the regional training page.
If you are interested in volunteering on our national helpline, visit the helpline page.
We also advertise specific volunteer vacancies.
You can also complete our online expression of interest form and this allows you to:
- register interest in becoming a central office, telephone or email support volunteer
- register interest in becoming an Area or Branch volunteer (please note it will take a bit of time for the forms to be sorted and sent out to Areas, and the quicker option is always to contact your Area direct).
