Area Coordinator, Bedfordshire Area
Cruse Bereavement Care, the UK’s leading bereavement support charity, is looking for a passionate and experienced Area Coordinator to join our hardworking team based in Bedfordshire. You will play a key role by providing skills in order to generate income whilst providing support to our bereavement volunteers who support bereaved people living in Bedfordshire. You will coordinate and manage the day-to-day operation of the Area, and provide operational support to the Referral and Allocations Secretary. This post holder will be responsible for monitoring the service Cruse provides locally and ensuring sustainability via income generation as it important to continue to provide emotional support, advice and information to the highest standard for bereaved people in Bedfordshire.
Referral and Allocations Secretary, Bedfordshire Area
Cruse Bereavement Care, the UK’s leading bereavement support charity, is looking for a Referral and Allocations Secretary to join our hardworking team based in Bedfordshire. You will play a key role by providing skills in order to ensure people wanting to access bereavement support receive an excellent standard of service. You will coordinate the running of the local referral line and liaise with the volunteers to provide the support to bereaved people in Bedfordshire. This post holder will work with the Area Coordinator to ensure the service Cruse provides Bedfordshire is to the highest standard for bereaved people in Bedfordshire.

Salary £20,183 +(min start)
Full time 35 hours per week
We have a vacancy of an Area coordinator post based in our North Wales Area Office at Colwyn Bay.
The ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh is desirable.
The post is offered on a one-year fixed term basis
with an extension dependant on funding.
