Cruse and the Child Bereavement Networks' opposition to Government plans to change the widowed parent's allowance from 2016 has been featured in the Observer and the Daily Mail.

On Sunday 14 July the Observer featured the story of widow Georgia Elms and her two daughters, and included quotes from Debbie Kerslake, Cruse Cheif Executive. Debbie said:

"Bereaved children need support, consistency and care. The financial pressures caused by these changes will mean some parents having to work longer hours and move home, uprooting a child at the worst possible time."

Previously the changes were featured in the Daily Mail during June. There were two articles, one covering Vicky Anning's story and another outlining the planned changes.
