About this training

National Counselling Society (NCS) approved training. This webinar has been developed specifically for qualified counsellors and therapists who want to explore how current events may impact on their work with clients or to refresh their knowledge base in dealing with bereaved clients.

By the end of this webinar, participants will have:

  • Re-visited key current models of loss and bereavement and considered how they are applicable in current times
  • Recapped their understanding of what bereaved people need and how to provide this
  • Considered how death from current events may impact on grieving
  • Reflected on the additional challenges that may arise for you when working with clients bereaved during pandemic – the importance of managing your own boundaries and maintaining effective self-care strategies.

Cost: £75 per person (£62.50 ex VAT). Webinars run for up to 2.5 hours with a 15-minute break, and participants are capped at 10 to encourage interaction and discussion.
