We recommend that you contact your local Cruse Area for further information on dates as if there is demand additional courses can be sometimes be added or the Area may know of other courses running in neighbouring Areas. Cruse in Peterborough and Huntingdon is running the following upcoming courses.
Chesterfield & North Derbyshire Cruse
Invitations are invited for people who are interested in training to be a Cruse Bereavement Volunteer. No previous experience in counselling skills are required as the course includes all the skills, awareness and knowledge around bereavement. Anyone with recent experience with working with children and who would like to support bereaved children are especially welcome to apply to work in our well-equipped children’s room in Chesterfield.

The Bereavement Support Foundation and Face to Face Module 5 day training course is run mainly on Saturdays at our branch in Birmingham city centre. Training times are 0930hrs - 1630hrs and held normally 2-3 times a year.

Bereavement Support Foundation Course 2018
This training course has been developed to support the Cruse Service Model and Bereavement Care in Practice. It is a Foundation Course, for all volunteers and staff that have client contact, designed to provide the skills, awareness and knowledge around bereavement. The first three days cover the foundation training and the remaining two days cover face to face work with adults.
