‘Let’s Talk About Grief’ online sessions
We're hosting a series of monthly online sessions designed to explore different aspects of grief in a safe and supportive space
We understand that grief is deeply personal and often difficult to talk about. That’s why we’re offering Let’s Talk About Grief – a series of monthly online sessions designed to explore different aspects of grief in a safe and supportive space.
Each session features a guest speaker who will share insights on a specific theme, followed by an open Q&A where you can listen, reflect, or ask questions if you wish.
These Zoom sessions are open to anyone aged 18 who is grieving. You’re welcome to attend any month where the topic feels relevant to your experience.
Whether you’re newly bereaved or further along in your journey, we hope you’ll join us to connect, learn, and feel supported.
Upcoming sessions
Thursday 19th February, 1pm -2:30pm
If you’re a man and you’re grieving, please join our Clinical Director, Andy Langford, in this online session.

Judaism and death are a topic you may know little about. In this session we will look at the traditions and practices that are used when someone Jewish dies.
We will be joined by a Jewish educator with many years’ experience of giving talks about all aspects of Judaism. They will explain what happens when someone dies and the different traditions within Judaism.
If you are supporting a Jewish bereaved person, this session may be particularly helpful.
There will also be time for a Q&A, to offer the opportunity to ask any questions you have.

If you are a family member or friend caring for and supporting someone with Dementia who is grieving, please join us at this online Let’s Talk About Grief – Dementia and Bereavement session.
More and more people are affected by dementia. The Let’s Talk about Grief – Introduction to dementia and bereavement presentation will clarify what dementia is, then help us to understand what the person with dementia may struggle with in bereavement. The session will include strategies that can help to engage the person with dementia and support them through the process of bereavement. There will be space for questions.
Experienced Cruse Bereavement Volunteers will also be available at the session, so if you find you need some individual emotional support they will be able to move into a breakout room with you to offer you that space.
Please note: These information sessions are not intended for professional therapists, counsellors, or those with clinical mental health backgrounds. We have other specialised courses available for healthcare professionals and trained therapists that may be more suitable for their needs. More information on our courses can be found here: Training – Cruse Bereavement Support
With thanks to the National Lottery Community Fund for supporting our ‘Let’s Talk About Grief’ sessions.
