BBC’s One Show features Cruse volunteer meeting The Queen
A special episode of the One Show features Cruse volunteer Yolanda Clarke in their 'photos with The Queen' feature.
Last night (Wednesday 23rd February), The One Show had a special celebratory episode to mark 100 days until Her Majesty The Queen’s Jubilee. The programme was broadcast from Buckingham Palace and included a number of different features on the upcoming celebrations – including one special feature on ‘photos with the Queen’. As part of this, one of our amazing volunteers Yolanda Clarke spoke with the show all about her experience receiving support from Cruse and going on to work for Cruse in Manchester, as well as her time meeting her Majesty at Cruse’s 60th anniversary celebration.
It was lovely to see our Bereavement Volunteer, Yolanda, featured on @BBCTheOneShow last night as they celebrated 100 days until The Queen's #PlatinumJubilee 🎉

“When I became a Cruse Bereavement Support volunteer, never in my wildest dreams would I have expected it to lead to an opportunity to meet Her Majesty, The Queen. It was an honour and a privilege and I will always remember this moment with great fondness"
