Welcome to Cruse Bereavement Care in Lambeth. We hope you will find information here about what we do, how you can get support you need, and how you may be able to support us.
Cruse Bereavement Care is a national charity that exists to offer support, advice and information to children, young people and adults when someone dies. It aims to enhance society’s care of bereaved people.
Set up in 2009, Cruse Lambeth branch offers support to adults within the London borough of Lambeth (or whose GP practice is in the borough). We offer one-to-one and group support with trained Bereavement Volunteers. We are also able to offer advice and support to parents or others affected by a death in the family where there are children, and a service especially for children and young people (under 18).
The huge amount of administrative work involved is currently carried out by a part time administrators with support from our volunteers.
We liaise with many other organisations in Lambeth who provide services, either directly or indirectly to bereaved people. If you would like to be added to our mailing list to receive information about what we are doing, new services or events, please do let us know by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. In addition, we very much welcome support from companies - either financially, through an event or in kind. If you would like to talk to someone about how you can help, please do let us know.
You can call the branch on 020 7620 3999. Calls will be returned within 48 hours. Alternatively, email email@example.com
Due to the current pandemic and ongoing social distancing, all Cruse services will be provided over the telephone, email or internet until further notice. Please contact us to find out more.
Funding from the Coronavirus Community Support Fund, distributed by The National Lottery Community Fund, has helped us to support local people in our area who have been affected by bereavement. Thanks to the Government for making this possible.
