Understanding Your Bereavement Online (UYBO)

Gain some understanding about your grief, and what may help when navigating difficult days.

What is Understanding Your Bereavement Online (UYBO) ?

UYBO sessions are one-off group sessions, facilitated by trained bereavement volunteers, which take place over Zoom. They provides a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space where you can talk about your loss and its impact, should you wish to.  We will support you to gain some understanding about your feelings, and what may help when navigating difficult days.

UYBO sessions

The session starts with a presentation and then moves into smaller group discussions with a trained bereavement volunteer, here you can explore the presentation content and how it may relate to you.

We know that group discussions can seem daunting, please be reassured that this is a safe and confidential space with other people who have experienced loss, many clients tell us how positive and comforting the group discussions have been.

You are welcome to bring along a family member or friend with you to the online session.
