None of what Cruse achieves would be possible without the passion, dedication and skills of our volunteers.

During the coronavirus pandemic we need our volunteers more than ever. We are not offering face-to-face services but there are opportunities to provide support from home, volunteer for your local area or take shifts on our National Helpline.

If you have volunteered for Cruse in the past and would like to return to help us  during these difficult times we'd be delighted to welcome you back. Contact your local area to find out more.

There are a number of ways you can find out more about volunteering in your area or nationally.

Our bereavement support volunteers are all trained in our Bereavement Support Foundation course. Find out when courses are running around the country.

We have nearly 5000 volunteers who support bereaved people and take on a number of other roles to help Cruse. You can read some of their stories here.

The National Helpline is often the first point of contact for people making that brave initial step to get support. Could you help these people by taking shifts on our helpline from home?
