Become a volunteer supervisor

Could you help support our volunteers to provide a lifeline to grieving people?

Are you passionate about helping those struggling with their grief? Could you give some of your time to support our volunteers in their work with bereaved people?

All Cruse volunteers who work with bereaved people have regular supervision. Supervision is vital to help them:

  • provide the best possible support to their bereaved clients
  • develop and maintain their skills
  • address any problems which come up
  • keep up to date with Cruse’s work.

If you’re an experienced supervisor interested in joining our Cruse community and have five hours or more to give each month we’d love to hear from you. We offer training, your own supervision, and training and travel expenses.

Supervision provides a structured space in which anxieties can be aired, successes celebrated, and collective insights shared in a group. Cruse offers a sense of community, excellent free training and CPD opportunities, and good communication with both fellow volunteers and paid staff. Speaking personally it’s one of the best things I’ve undertaken.
